Tracey Hageny, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Tracey Hageny is a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she undertook a one-year intensive internship in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in Richmond Virginia. Afterwards, she returned home to Wisconsin and took a position in a large referral hospital in Milwaukee. Since then, she has worked in both emergency medicine and general practices in Wisconsin and Texas.
Dr. Hageny has taught courses in a veterinary technician training program. Her special interests include metabolic diseases of the dog and cat such as Cushing's Disease, Diabetes Mellitus and Addison's Disease, geriatric and palliative care medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Hageny lives in Hurst with her four dogs, three children and husband. While not at work, she enjoys gardening, photography and watching her kids play baseball.
