Courtney Pinto, Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Courtney was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She spent most of her free time in college working at two animal shelters and a wildlife sanctuary while earning her degrees in Environmental Studies and Biology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. After moving to California a few years later, she entered the veterinary world as a kennel technician and vet assistant at a private practice. Courtney originally joined the VCA team as a client services coordinator at a VCA hospital in California, then joined the VCA Becker crew as a veterinary technician in 2018. On her days off she can be found hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three dogs.

Fun fact: While living in Monterey, California, Courtney volunteered on a rescue team for The Marine Mammal Center that rescued sick, injured, and distressed sea lions and seals.
