Jennifer Molseed, Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Molseed grew up in Richmond, Virginia. At age 8, she declared her desire to become a Veterinarian. She started working at a dog kennel and volunteering in animal hospitals while attending Mary Baldwin College, where she received her Bachelor degree in biology. She continued her work in animal hospitals, working as a receptionist, veterinary assistant, and kennel worker. In 2003, she graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
After vet school, she moved to Lynchburg to be with her husband. Her past veterinary jobs include associate veterinarian at Animal Emergency and Critical Care and Medical Director at Southside Spay/Neuter Clinic. She has also done relief work at several local veterinary hospitals. She has been working as an associate veterinarian with us since 2011.
Dr. Molseed is married and has one son. She has one dog, an older lady named Lorelei, and one cat, a young boy named Merlin. She loves spending time with her family and also enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, and watching movies. Aside from veterinary medicine, her passions include animal welfare and wildlife conservation.
