Ellen Kent, Veterinary Technician

Ellen has truly wanted to be a Vet Tech long before she even knew what a Vet Tech was.  After a couple of career switches, a Google search of “animal nurse” led her to information on becoming a Veterinary Technician and the rest is history.  Ellen is a 2019 graduate of Alfred State College and has been with VCA Broadway Animal Hospital since May 2019.  Her main interests lie in laboratory work and radiography, but she genuinely enjoys all aspects of being a technician.  She can be frequently found singing to patients (and really, everyone else) or dancing her way around the hospital.  When not at work, Ellen enjoys scary movies, going to concerts, karaoke, trivia, and spending time with her husband, Tyler, and her son, Harvey.  Her personal critter collection consists of her terrier-mix, Darla, a Sphynx named Zuul, and a bearded dragon, Dobson.
