Jason Collins, Medical Director

Jason Collins started working at VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital in November 2015. Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Collins is a proud alumnus of Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!), where he received a bachelor of science in Food Safety before graduating from MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine. He first became interested in working with animals because of his experiences in high school while participating in a 4-H livestock club. Dr. Collins is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. His professional interests include surgery and dermatology. Dr. Collins and his wife Stacy are proud parents of 2 children, Christopher and Lydia. Their family is rounded out by a Basset Hound mix named Edgar and a mixed breed named Lexi.
