Jennifer Godfrey, Staff Veterinarian/Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Godfrey was born and raised right here in Southern California. She attended California State Polytechnic (Cal Poly) University in Pomona for her undergraduate degree before attending Washington State University in Pullman, Washington for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After Graduating in 2011, she went on to complete a 1 year internship in Lexington, Kentucky and a 3 year surgical residency at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, both focusing on large animals.
Following her specialty training, Dr. Godfrey worked in private practice as an equine/large animal surgeon, as well as a clinical instructor for surgery at Washington State University. Dr Godfrey became a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2017. After returning to Southern California last year to be closer to family, she transitioned her focus to include treatment and surgery of small animals.
