Dr. Thomas Monaco is especially interested in orthopedic, oncologic and cardiothoracic surgeries and pain management. He has advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, including arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy and interventional radiology; and the multiple treatments for cranial cruciate ligament disease, to include tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA), tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), lateral fabellar suture and tightrope.

An open water dive instructor, Dr. Monaco is an avid scuba diver. He also enjoys skiing and triathlons and has completed two full IRONMAN races. As a member of the Wildlife Conservation Society, he can often be found visiting local zoos and aquariums with his wife and son.
