Leah Jackson, Medical Director
Dr. Leah Jackson, a native of northern New Jersey, graduated in 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree in Biology. She continued at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Veterinary Medical Doctorate degree in 2003. After completing an internship in companion animal medicine and surgery at the Manhattan Veterinary Group in 2004, Dr. Jackson accepted a position as an associate veterinarian at a small animal hospital on the Upper East Side. Dr. Jackson joined VCA Park East Animal Hospital in 2009 as an associate veterinarian, and in 2013 was appointed Medical Director. Her areas of special interest include ultrasonography, general surgery, client education and preventative medicine. When she is not working, she enjoys drawing, music, dance and travel. Dr. Jackson lives in New York City with her husband, daughter Zoe, and their dog, Bella.
