Teresa Sharp, Staff Veterinarian

Biography Dr. Teresa Sharp attended Texas A&M University for both undergraduate studies and veterinary school. She graduated Cum Laude from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 1995. Dr. Sharp joined the VCA Lindley Animal Hospital family in February of 1998, after practicing medicine at other local veterinary hospitals. Dr. Sharp began working at VCA Pet Doctor in January of 2013.. She has been a wonderful addition to our team. Her professional interests include feline and emergency medicine; the latter fueled by her time spent working at critical care hospitals in the area. Dr. Sharp is a member of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Associations, American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M, a member of the Veterinary Information Network, as well as a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Sharp and her husband, of over 20 years, John, share a home in Allen with their two 4-legged children, Frankie and their newest addition, Izzy.. both very lucky kitties! In her spare time she enjoys canning, reading and playing the piano.
