Mara Thorp, Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Mara is a graduate of the CNM Veterinary Technology Program 2017 and am a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of New Mexico.
I have been working in Veterinary Medicine exclusively for 3 years, but have done odd jobs in animal medicine on and off since high school, including a mentorship at local animal hospital and volunteering at the Spring River Park and Zoo in Roswell, NM.
I have been with VCA West Mesa since the beginning of December 2018.
I have a dog named Emma, who loves coming with me to work, 2 cats named Jesse and Slash, and a Leopard Gecko named Motley II.
The areas of veterinary medicine I am interested in most are: surgery, clinical pathology, and exotic medicine
