Dr. Brianne Karten is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She previously received a Master of Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel University College of Medicine. Her undergraduate education was completed at New York University and Dowling College, where she studied biology and physical chemistry.

Dr. Karten's special interests include behavior and welfare, oncology, and veterinary community outreach. Originally from the New York area, she is happy to be back on Long Island but remains loyal to Philly mascot Gritty.
