Come in and visit us at VCA Mission Animal Hospital! We’re located on the Southside of San Antonio, near the corner of Pleasanton Rd and W. Harding, about 2 miles south from SW Military Dr. Our caring and skilled veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services, for puppies and kittens, adult dogs & cats, and senior pets. Our services include physical exams, vaccines, a weekly low cost vaccine clinic, spay, neuter, and pet dental care; surgeries, hospitalization, digital x-rays, and laboratory testing. We offer a monthly wellness plan called CareClub and carry Hills Science & Prescription Diets, as well as a variety of treats. We work closely with several local rescue and animal shelters including the Humane Society of San Antonio.
Our practice has been caring for pets for over 60 years. Dr. William Harcrow, Dr. Dillon Johnson, and Dr. Marisol Lazarte are knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians. Our friendly support staff are bilingual Spanish speakers and can offer oral & written translations for all doctor instructions. Our goal it to provide exceptional service to you and your pet!

* Diagnostic imaging: On-site digital X-rays provide high-quality radiographs essential for identifying problems that cannot be found during a routine exam.
* Laboratory: In house laboratory for urgent case; we also utilize a commercial veterinary laboratory for routine and specialized diagnostics and consultations.
* Pharmacy: A complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, canine and feline heartworm and flea preventatives, prescription diets, vitamins, and skin care supplies.
* Surgery/Dentistry: We are fully equipped to provide routine spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, dental evaluations and cleaning. We also provide dental X-Rays to thoroughly evaluate crowns and roots of any problem teeth.
* Emergency Care: We are fully equipped to handle emergency cases.
* Pain Management: Pain can accompany illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. Effective pain control is a vital part of caring for your pet and ensuring their comfort, quick recovery, and quality of life.
