Dr. Simmons grew up in Manahawkin, New Jersey. She attended the University of Delaware where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a minor in Biology. Dr. Simmons earned her DVM at Michigan State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, running, and exploring the outdoors with her rescue dog, Addie.
