Samantha Ritzer, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Ritzer has always had a passion and love for animals. Ever since she was a little girl she had always aspired to be a veterinarian. She grew up in the Monmouth, New Jersey area, received her bachelors of science from the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University in Animals Science with a minor in companion animal science, then went on to complete her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She then returned to central NJ to join the Toms River Animal Hospital Team. She currently resides with her husband, Andrew, and two fur children, Navi the Pekingese and Midna the coconut retriever, and is looking forward to adopting more soon.
