Robert Rizzitano, Staff Veterinarian

Rob Rizzitano is a 1990 graduate from Ohio State, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. His next year was spent as an intern at the esteemed Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA. He joined the staff at VCA West LA in October of 1991, and has just celebrated his twentieth year. In the last five years he has developed a holistic approach to medicine, and has pursued study in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Food Therapy. He received his certification in Acupuncture in 2011, and now practices an integrative Eastern and Western approach to medicine. He is an avid musician in his spare time. His three felines, Ricky, Archie, and Rowdy, kindly share their home with him in Topanga Canyon.
